Usage notes
- Use addetto for a role or assigned duty: addetto alle vendite. For a generic worker, dipendente or impiegato is often more natural.
- It commonly takes a or per before the place, but alle/ai before the task: addetto alla cassa, addetto ai reclami.
- As a noun for staff roles, it changes for gender and number: addetto, addetta, addetti, addette.
