Usage notes
- Ai = a + i. Use it before masculine plural definite nouns: ai ragazzi, ai tavoli.
- Do not use ai before vowels. Use agli instead: agli amici, agli studenti.
- It often means to/to the, but after some verbs it marks the indirect object: parlare ai genitori.
