Usage notes
- Usually uncountable for the relationship: fare amicizia, in amicizia. Use un'amicizia when referring to one specific friendship.
- Don't use *amicizia* for 'friends' in general conversation; say amici. *Le amicizie* means friendships, not the people themselves.
- Common with fare: fare amicizia con qualcuno = to become friends with someone. Not *fare un'amicizia* in this sense.
