Usage notes
- Use frequentare for places, schools, courses, and people. For events or one-time attendance, prefer andare a or partecipare a.
- Frequentare qualcuno often implies seeing someone regularly; in context, it can suggest dating, not just friendship.
- With school, Italian says frequentare una scuola/corso, not *attendere*. For class attendance, this is the normal verb.
