- Use navigazione for ships, routes, or technical navigation. For browsing websites, colloquial Italian often prefers navigare su Internet over simple navigazione.
- Internet sense is often singular: la navigazione in Internet. Don’t confuse it with navigatore, which usually means GPS device or navigator.
