Usage notes
- Before a singular noun, use qualsiasi unchanged: qualsiasi libro, qualsiasi persona. Unlike qualunque, it does not change for gender or number.
- For plural nouns, prefer qualunque/i or use qualsiasi + singular meaning a whole class: qualsiasi studente can mean any student.
- Use a noun after it in standard Italian. Alone, forms like chiunque or qualunque are usually more natural than qualsiasi by itself.
