Notas de uso
- Use estate for the season; anno means year. In dates, d'estate means in summer, not every summer unless context makes it habitual.
- Often used without article in fixed expressions: in estate, d'estate. With article, l'estate can mean summer in general or a specific summer.
- Don't confuse estate with stato or stagione. Estate is only the season, not state, status, or season in general.
