- Months are not capitalized in Italian: febbraio, not Febbraio, except at the start of a sentence.
- Use in + month for dates within a month: in febbraio. For a specific day, use a: il 3 febbraio / a febbraio.
- With dates, Italian usually omits a preposition before the month after the day number: il 14 febbraio, not il 14 di febbraio.
