- For a theater or concert stage, use palco. For a raised work surface or podium, piattaforma or pedana may fit better.
- In theaters, palco can also mean a private box seat. Don’t confuse it with palcoscenico, which is specifically the stage area.
- Sul palco means “on stage,” especially for performers or speakers. In scena is broader and often refers to being in a scene or performance.
