Notas de uso
- Mostly written or formal speech; in casual conversation, però, inoltre, or tra l'altro are often more natural.
- It often comments on the whole sentence, so place it before the verb or between commas, not tightly attached to one word.
- Don't overuse it for simple addition: inoltre is clearer for neutral 'furthermore'; peraltro can sound more argumentative or stylistically marked.
