- Use veramente for stronger emphasis or sincerity; realmente often sounds more factual, objective, or closer to actually/in reality.
- Before adjectives and adverbs, molto is usually more natural for degree: molto bello, not really realmente bello in everyday speech.
- Placed before the word it modifies: è realmente difficile. Sentence-initial Realmente, ... sounds more formal or rhetorical.
