- Use reparto for sections inside stores, companies, hospitals, or the military; ufficio is an office room/team, and sezione is a more generic section.
- In shops, reparto often appears with a product area: reparto ortofrutta, reparto uomo, reparto surgelati.
- For hospital wards, reparto is standard; stanza means a room, not the whole ward.
