Notas de uso
- Use uguale after nouns or with essere: due case uguali, è uguale. Before a noun, stesso usually means “the same”: la stessa cosa.
- For “similar,” simile often sounds more natural than uguale when things are not exactly identical: simile a questo, not always uguale a questo.
- With indirect objects, use a: è uguale a me/te/lui. Learners often omit the preposition.
