Notas de uso
- In modern standard Italian, insieme is much more common than assieme; assieme can sound literary, regional, or old-fashioned.
- Often used with a after it: assieme a qualcuno/cosa. Learners may wrongly omit a before a noun or pronoun.
- Prefer insieme/assieme over con when stressing joint action, not just accompaniment.
