Notas de uso
- Use indovinare for guessing correctly; tirare a indovinare stresses random guessing, and prevedere is better for forecasts based on evidence.
- It also means to get something right: Hai indovinato! = You got it right, not only You guessed.
- With direct objects, use avere in compound tenses: ho indovinato la risposta. Reflexive forms are uncommon here.
