Notas de uso
- Use avere ragione for “to be right.” Don’t say essere ragione.
- For “reason why,” Italian often uses il motivo per cui; la ragione per cui is correct but slightly more formal.
- In everyday speech, hai ragione means “you’re right,” while ho ragione io adds emphasis: “I’m the one who’s right.”
