- Use finora mainly with present or present perfect for a situation continuing up to now; less often with simple past.
- Compared with fin adesso, finora is slightly more neutral and common in writing; both are standard.
- Don't confuse it with ancora: finora marks the time span up to now, while ancora means still/yet/again depending on context.
