Notas de uso
- More formal and emphatic than solo. In everyday speech, Italians often prefer solo in the same positions.
- Usually placed before the word it limits: solamente io, solamente oggi. Position changes emphasis.
- Do not confuse with da solo, which means alone/by oneself, not only.
