Notas de uso
- Most often used with time expressions: trascorrere il weekend, trascorrere del tempo. For "to spend money," use spendere, not trascorrere.
- For elapsed time, Italian often prefers intransitive forms: Il tempo trascorre / Sono trascorsi due anni.
- As a transitive verb, it usually takes avere: Ho trascorso l'estate a Roma. Past participle agrees only with a preceding direct object pronoun.
- past participle trascorso
